The last threads of sunlight peer through the trees and stone. For a moment, a glint of light catches a memorial statue, illuminating its corroded, green bronze. The passing of time takes its toll on us all, from birth through life to the inevitable grave, and even in death, time leaves its mark.
Cemetery Drive is a collaborative pin series inspired by bronze graveyard statues by the artists of the West Winona collective, Ray Nadine, Corvin J Lyn, and Brodsky. Each artist has designed a pin with inspiration from actual statues in the midwest, to not only showcase the beauty of statues tucked away in cemeteries but to celebrate the oft forgotten midwest. These pins are the three designs by Ray!
